Just found this out when I was trying to control the rate that text typed out mid-line, which I have not figured out how to do (and am not sure IS possible to do in the current version) but I did figure out a fun consequence of the way Monogatari allows HTML in its dialog box, and the way the game types out every character one at a time means that you can make stilted dialog.

This was achieved like this! Very simple.
"Hello. I am speaking. And now... Uh... Well I'm still speaking but. I feel very... stilted...",
Enjoy adding dramatic pauses to your games. More spaces mean longer pauses.
Also, you can use zero-width spaces, such as the Mongolian Vowel Separator to add spaces inbetween letters in the same word.
